Seeking a summer Contextual Education experience?
Help people encounter God in the wonders of creation!
A Christian Ministry in the National Parks wants to place you in one of 27 national parks across the country for a summer or winter of life-changing ministry. You will serve in some of the world’s most beautiful and sacred wild places.
We connect you to an employer in a national park for a full time (paid) job and equip you to meet a variety of spiritual needs of coworkers, guests, and permanent residents – essentially as a park chaplain. ACMNP is an unconventional ministry that will help you grow in pastoral and worship skills and prepare you for a lifetime of service in the global and local missional church.
Our interdenominational ministry locations include Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Denali, Glacier, Acadia, Great Smoky, Rocky Mountain, and many others. The best source of information about opportunities with ACMNP is our website www.acmnp.com.
As a seminary student and team leader of undergraduate students, you will receive a $1,500 tuition scholarship for fulfilling your summer ministry commitment and have the potential to earn Contextual Education credit depending upon your course studies. Additionally, you can expect to earn approximately $2,000-$3,000 while employed by a private park concessionaire. Room and board is provided at minimal cost.
This is a good fit for students seeking to develop their leadership skills and gain practical experience in worship, preaching, spiritual formation, staff management, pastoral counseling, church administration, conflict resolution, cross-cultural awareness and stewardship issues.

Spencer Lundgaard (Executive Director) at Candler School of Theology on Thursday, February 6th from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the 4th floor lobby, attend the brown-bag lunch info session in RARB 411 from noon-1:00 p.m., or check us out online at http://www.acmnp.com/team-experience/seminary-scholarship.
