The Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Open House offers Candler students the valuable opportunity to meet CPE directors from the metro Atlanta and North Georgia area and learn more about the opportunities at their particular sites. CPE is a program that focuses on pastoral care and counseling and is usually located in hospital settings, although some CPE programs are located in prisons, congregations, and communities. Many Episcopal, Presbyterian, Lutheran, and Methodist boards of ordained ministry require CPE for ordination. Candler students may enroll in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for academic credit (www.candler.emory.edu/coned/cpe.cfm). Please register at http://tinyurl.com/lc6ztrn. Bring your own lunch.
