The forum will be convened by Dr. Marie Marquardt, Scholar-in-Residence at Candler School of Theology, and Silas Allard, Associate Director of the Center for the Study of Law and Religion, and features Sisters JoAnn Persch and Pat Murphy, whose extraordinary work among Central American survivors of torture, asylum seekers, and detained immigrants is featured in the award-wining documentary Band of Sisters.
