As the first in the Smith College Department of Religion's "Wisdom Human and Divine Lecture Series 2012-2013," Professor Luke Timothy Johnson, R.W. Woodruff Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins at Candler School of Theology, will give a lecture entitled "Jesus Among the Philosophers: Ancient Conceptions of Happiness" on Thursday, October 18 at 5 pm in Seelye Hall 106.
Alums, prospective students, and friends of Candler are invited to attend this lecture, which is free and open to the public.
